I have loved to design rooms since childhood. Although, growing up in the lower middle class, I didn't have a great deal of exposure to the many Oohs and Aahs of beautifully designed homes. Yet, I had a flare for the spectacular. My room was where I worked, labored and learned about how to balance creativity, color and flow. In elementary school I found out about design contests, but it wasn't until my junior year of high school that I finial entered, and subsequently, began winning.

Immediately after high school I enlisted in the U.S. Army and placed my desires to design on hold. After completing my 4 year enlistment, I began attending college and now I have a degree in Psychology. After all, the beauty of form, color and design have their roots in perception and the topic of perception is heavily studied in Psychology.
